About Us
Sacred Heart Parish is a welcoming Roman Catholic community that was founded in 1951. Our beautiful church and thriving school are complemented by our partnership with St. Monica’s Parish on nearby Mercer Island, all under the guidance of the Archdiocese of Seattle. We are a lively community supported by dedicated lay leaders, and we deeply appreciate our members who generously share their time, skills, and resources to enrich our parish.
To fulfill our mission and build an engaged parish and school, we focus on cultivating lasting and mutually rewarding relationships with God, our parishioners, and the broader community. By promoting engagement, we nurture a sense of belonging within the parish, emphasizing the principles of receiving, giving, belonging, and growing.
