The Society of St. Vincent de Paul. Sacred Heart Conference is a Catholic lay organization leads participants to grow spiritually by offering person-to-person outreach to those who are needy and suffering.

We welcome various forms of support based on the needs of your group. This can include organizing food pantries, managing finances, keeping minutes and records, writing newsletters, making presentations, and more. Our vibrant and active ministry aims to engage with the community, so please consider joining us to serve our neighbors!

We help reduce homelessness, saving taxpayers hundreds of thousands of dollars each year. How do we do this?  We conduct home visits each week, assisting families and individuals with rent, utility payments, food, and other basic needs.

Participate in our events:

  • “Stuff the Truck” (formerly Bundle Sunday). Two weekends each year a St. Vincent de Paul truck is available after all Masses for receiving usable household items and clothing.
  • Donate food to the St. Vincent de Paul twice monthly, bins are located in the Church Narthex.
  • Donate your useable household items, clothing. Call St. Vincent de Paul dispatch at (206) 767-9975 option 1 to schedule a pickup.
  • Monetary support. Any help is most appreciated. Sacred Heart Conference regularly spends 99% of its cash donation directly on supporting client needs.  We encourage you to donate to St. Vincent de Paul through the Online Giving webpage.
  • Volunteer.  We welcome any time you can give to this very worthy cause.    Time commitments are flexible.  We do ask that home visits be done in pairs, so this can be an ideal ministry for couples who want to serve together.  SVdP provides support every day of the week.  Volunteers must complete a St. Vincent de Paul background check.
